My role for this project was as an Educational Specialist. I was to develop a two week onboarding program for the Environmental Health and Safety Department to train housekeepers and other maintenance personnel.
The main objective was to develop a schedule that housekeepers could follow that would include hands on training and to develop content that would be used for creating e-learning modules. I used several different types of software to create presentations, checklists, quizzes, badge inserts, and much more

Onboarding was a rigorous 2 week process. I took many pictures to help facilitated training, created a detailed schedule, and a badge insert with all the important information and contact numbers.

Developed training areas checklist for managers.
This is a list of all the Standard Work Instructions (SWI’s) used for onboarding. I updated the SWI’s with images and verbiage that was easy to follow. I also created PPT’s and as in person training.


By the end of this project some of the SWI’s began to be updated from old videos into Storyline. Click the image below to see the sample course in action.
